Services Revenue Summary
This report provides information for use in accrual accounting.
The Services Revenue Summary was created to help complete accounting ledgers for clubs using accrual basis accounting and recording transactions through DataTrak. The report can also provide a revenue summary, displaying deferred revenue, recognized revenue, and changes in deferred revenue by profit center and transaction type.
The report provides data on services purchased through Club Account and Point of Sale (POS). ABC Member Billing and Collect at Club Billing are not accounted for in this report.
You have the option to view either Journal Entries or the Summary Report .
Journal Entries
Use the Journal Entries report to aid in completing accounting ledgers when your club uses accrual basis accounting.
From the parameters page:
- Select the Journal Entries Report Type.
- The Run Type is pre-set as End of Month.
- Select the month for which you would like to view data.
- Select one or multiple clubs to be included in the report.
- Choose a Report Format.
- Run or Queue the report.

Summary Report
Use the Summary Report to generate a revenue summary. The summary displays deferred revenue, recognized revenue, and changes in deferred revenue.
From the parameters page:
- Select the Summary Report Report Type.
- Choose a Run Type. You may view Daily Only, MTD Only, or Daily & MTD data.
- Select a date.
- Choose one or multiple clubs to be included in the report.
- Select a Report Format.
- Run or Queue the report.

Sales tax is included in the figures shown.
The Summary Report is comprised of three main sections:
Deferred Revenue
This section accounts for all services purchased through POS and Club Account.
Recognized Revenue
This section reports recognized revenue based on completed and expired services in DataTrak.
Change in Deferred Revenue
This section shows total sales for POS and Club Account in two categories, deferred revenue and recognized revenue. Ultimately you can view the change in deferred revenue for the selected month.
If you select multiple clubs and one of the selected clubs does not have available data for the time period chosen, that club will be suppressed from the report.
