Background Check In
With background check in, as long as the computer is on and connected to the Internet, members can check in
- Whether or not DataTrak is open.
- If DataTrak is running in the background
- While you are browsing another page in DataTrak.
This feature applies to attended or unattended regular and remote check ins.
Background Check In requires a serial scanner.
To enable Background Check In
- Click Setup.
- In the Settings submenu, click Workstation.
- On the Edit Workstation page, click the Advanced tab.
- In the Hardware Service Setup section, select Yes in the Background CheckIn Enabled field.
- Click Save.
