Background Check In

With background check in, as long as the computer is on and connected to the Internet, members can check in

  • Whether or not DataTrak is open.
  • If DataTrak is running in the background
  • While you are browsing another page in DataTrak.

This feature applies to attended or unattended regular and remote check ins.

Background Check In requires a serial scanner.

To enable Background Check In

  1. Click Setup.
  2. In the Settings submenu, click Workstation.
  3. On the Edit Workstation page, click the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Hardware Service Setup section, select Yes in the Background CheckIn Enabled field.
  5. Click Save.
