Fixed Catalog Item Settings

"Fixing" one of an item's Company/Club Settings on the Edit Catalog Items page restricts them from being changed on the club level (the Edit Club Items page).

In the example below, The Edit Catalog Item page shows that only Unit Price and Default Discount have the Fixed option set to Yes.

Notice that the options that were set to Fixed for this item on the Edit Catalog Items page are fixed (dimmed and unavailable) on the Edit Club Items page. These options cannot be changed on the Edit Club Settings page unless Fixed is set to No on the Edit Catalog Items page.

To fix or unfix an item option:

  1. Open the Setup Menu.
  2. From the Inventory submenu, select Catalog Items.
  3. Enter the appropriate search criteria.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Select the item from the item list.
  6. In the Company/Club Settings section, change the Fixed value to Yes or No next to the option you want to fix or unfix.
  7. Click Save.
