Managing Stock
The quantity of the item in stock is displayed at the top of the main item information section.
Products that are configured as stockable on the Edit Catalog Item page have the Stock section on the Edit Club Items page.
The Stock section lists changes to the inventory by date, the type of change made, the vendor from whom the stock was purchased, and the employee who made the change.
Show me how to manage stock from this screen
To manage stock from this screen:
- Click Manage in the Stock section of the page.
- The Manage Item Stock page shows how many of the item are currently in stock.
Select an action:- Override: Enter the new quantity. This will override the current quantity. For example, if the "In Stock" amount is 10 and you override this amount with a quantity of 15, the new "In Stock" amount will be 15.
- Add: Add a quantity to the existing "In Stock" quantity.
- Subtract: Subtract a quantity from the existing "In Stock" quantity.
- Enter the added, subtracted, or overridden Quantity.
- Enter the Unit Cost of the item from the selected vendor.
- Enter the Vendor from whom the stock was purchased.
- Select the Reason for the inventory change.
- If necessary, enter a Note relating to the reason for the inventory change. This note will appear on the Edit Club Items page.
- Click OK. The change you just made will be added to the stock section of the page.
