Event Notifications and Reminders
Event notifications and reminders improve communication with your club’s members and employees. Having a reminder decreases the likelihood that the individual will forget about the event. And if there is a personal conflict, that person is more likely to reschedule or cancel the event ahead of time.
You can find available event notifications and reminders on the Email Types page (Setup > Settings > Email Types). They are described in the following table:
Note: The following is not an exhaustive list of the Email Types in DataTrak.

Employees |
To have notifications and reminders automatically sent to members and trainers:
- Events must have the Send Email Notification option set to Yes.
- Members must have a valid email address in DataTrak and be set to receive email.
- Employees must have a valid email address in DataTrak and be set to receive email.
On the Employee Tracking page, employees can send themselves an email with their event schedule by clicking the Email button on the Events tab.
