About the Refer a Friend Feature

The Refer a Friend feature makes it easy for clubs to allow members to use the app to invite family and friends to sign up for a trial membership at the club. The Refer a Friend feature must first be enabled by ABC.

You must contact your ABC Client Success Manager (CSM) to enable Refer a Friend (this feature is turned off by default).

This is a global (company-level) setting for all locations and cannot be configured per location.

Once the Refer a Friend feature is enabled, the following options are available.

1. Configure referral options in the Engagement web application.

• If using ABC's Guest Registration page, you must contact ABC to enable Online Join.
• If using a custom link, see Capturing the Referring Member's ID.

3. After referral options are configured, members can send referrals from the app.
4. You can track guest referrals in M&O/DataTrak.
