Ingenico Lane/7000 PIN Pad Setup Guide
This guide provides instructions on setting up the Ingenico Lane/7000 device for use with Membership and Operations.
Because the Ingenico device is cloud-based, it communicates via the internet instead of directly with the computer, and requires you to connect the Ethernet cable either to a router or to a port on the wall. Do not connect the Ethernet cable to the computer.

Before beginning setup, please ensure you have the following five components (pictured below):
- Ingenico Lane/7000 PIN Pad
- stylus

- HDMI to Ethernet adapter
- AC power supply (8V 3AMP)
If any items are missing from your shipment, please contact your Client Success Manager.
Ingenico Lane/7000 Hardware Setup
Use the following steps to set up the Ingenico Lane/7000 device.
- Turn the Ingenico over and locate the HDMI port as pictured below. This is where the HDMI adapter connects.
Please do not apply pressure to or use the tab over the HDMI port to prop up the device. Flip the tab down and allow the device to lay flat.
- Plug the HDMI adapter into the HDMI port. The screw holes in the adapter will line up with the screw holes on the device, as pictured below.
- Place the screws in the screw holes and tighten them by hand.
Do not overtighten these screws. They only need to be finger-tight.
- On the other end of the HDMI cable is a port for the power supply. Plug the power adapter into this port.
- Plug the Ethernet end of the HDMI adapter (pictured below) into a port on the wall or into a modem.
Because the Ingenico device is cloud-based, it communicates via the internet instead of directly with the computer, and requires you to connect the Ethernet cable either to a router or to a port on the wall. Do not connect the Ethernet cable to the computer.
- Turn the device upright. On the top-left corner of the device is a region to connect the stylus. Run the loop on the end of the stylus under the tether point as pictured below, then run the stylus through the loop to secure it.
- Place the stylus on the device as pictured below. It will be held in place magnetically.
The Ingenico device will boot up once it is connected to the Ethernet port and power. After a few seconds, the screen will display an alpha-numerical activation code (one letter and six digits).
When this code is displayed, you are ready for ABC Fitness Solutions Tech Support to activate your device.
If the device does not boot up and display the activation code, this indicates there is an issue connecting to the network. Please verify network connections and reattempt.
