Hardware Services 3.0.1 Release Notes

Fixed Issues:

 In this release, we have resolved an issue with background check in and the fingerprint module (HWS 3.0.1) and updated the EMV service and AutoUpdater.

 

Hardware Services 3.0.1

 

Background Checkin Error

In some cases, an error occurred during the background check in process that caused it to stall. This has been resolved. Additional logging for background check in has been added.

 

Fingerprint Module

We have fixed bugs relating to the fingerprint module, improving the module's robustness and preventing known issues with freezing.

 

EMV 2.0.1

We have updated the following with this EMV release:

  • The Fleck library version has been upgraded (new version 1.2.0, old version 0.13.0.57)
  • Serial Port communication has been improved
  • The universal verifone driver has bee updated 5.0.5.2-B5).
  • The Windows Core Isolation Memory Integrity setting is now supported
  • Additional logging has been added

 

AutoUpdater 2.0.2

We have updated the following with this AutoUpdater release:

  • The AU 2.0.2 version will read artifacts from S3 instead of the on premise SFTP server
  • Certain dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) have been fixed to allow for seamless updates to AutoUpdater and related components
