Installing Hardware Services

See Windows 11 Support for information on working in Membership and Operations with Windows 11.

These installation steps have been updated since the release of the ABC Auto Updater. This service scans the server at set intervals and then automatically downloads and installs available updates.
Click here for the old installation instructions.

If you already have an older version of Hardware Services installed, follow the instructions below. The older version will be automatically uninstalled and the current version will be installed in its place. Do not use the installer (.msi) from a previous version to uninstall Hardware Services.
To uninstall a Hardware Services version without installing a new version, see Uninstall Hardware Services at the end of this document.

Administrative rights are required to complete any of the processes associated with Hardware Service installation.
